The Liberty Movement

We are witnessing an unprecedented time. Today we’re seeing the sudden emergence of a new, fast-growing freedom movement, a still evolving coalition of libertarians, constitutionalists, small-government conservatives, anti-war activists, and more. There’s a bigger market now for libertarian ideas than ever before.

The Liberty Movement is the loose association of think tanks, activist organizations, political parties, and individuals who work to promote the ideas of free markets, civil liberties, and limited government across the globe. 

Although the organizations that make up this movement are dramatically different in scope, mission, personnel, and activity, they all share the same goal – making this world more peaceful and prosperous through the promises of liberty. 

Unlike other political movements, libertarianism appeals to the best of mankind by advocating freedom in both the economic and social realms. 

The core idea is simply stated, but profound and far-reaching in its implications. Libertarians believe that each person owns his own life and property, and has the right to make his own choices as to how he lives his life – as long as he simply respects the same right of others to do the same.

Liberty is one of the central lessons of world history. Virtually all the progress the human race has enjoyed during the past few centuries is due to the increasing acceptance of free markets, civil liberties, and self-ownership.

Our goal as libertarians is to bring liberty to the world, so that these wonderful and proven ideas can be put into action. This will make our world a far better place for all people.

Our goal as a movement is to develop libertarian solutions to current problems, and bring those solutions to the public in a powerful, persuasive manner.
