How the list was made
Two tests, applied before anything else.
The work
The organization identifies as libertarian, or it advances a libertarian-compatible position on a specific issue without the identity. The directory marks which is which, as a plain label and not a verdict.
The money
Privately funded: foundations, members, donors. An organization that depends on government funding is not listed, and neither is a political party or a campaign. The list has no candidates and endorses no one.
Know a group that belongs here, or one that should not? Tell the editor. Organizations credited on the wins ledger are named there whether or not they appear in this directory.
